23rd Call for Proposals: ready to support scientific excellence in 2026
|The 23rd CERIC-ERIC Call for Proposals (semester 2025.2) has officially closed.
The call has been a unique occasion for researchers from all over the world working to request open access to more than 60 techniques, instruments and support laboratories for materials characterisation measurements, through a single entry-point.

During this Call, a total of 125 proposals have been collected. Since some of them included access request to multiple tools and laboratories, demonstrating the strong complementary nature of the techniques available through CERIC, there was a total of 170 instruments requested.
Proposals came from 28 countries all over the world (considering the affiliation of the proposals’ principal investigators), reflecting the strong international dimension on which our Consortium relies. Among them, Italy, Poland and Czech Republic have been the most represented countries.
All the proposals underwent to a technical and scientific evaluation made by an independent review panel: among them, 71 have been selected and, thanks to CERIC support, researchers will then be able to perform state-of-the art analyses in the fields of materials, biomaterials and nanotechnology.
