Hands-on training opportunity at the JRC Nanobiotechnology Laboratory
The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) opens its scientific laboratories and facilities for training and capacity-building purposes to individuals working in academia and research organisations, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and more generally to the public and private sectors.
The JRC Nanobiotechnology Laboratory has just launched a new call offering hands-on laboratory training on topics including micro(nano)plastics, nanomaterials in food, nanomedicines, 3D bioprinting and imaging techniques.
The training week will be held on 23-27 March 2026 (5 days), in Ispra (VA), Italy.
It will include an exclusive session organised by CERIC-ERIC with presentations of its open access opportunities and relevant techniques.
The JRC may provide support for users’ travel and subsistence expenses, subject to funding availability.
Early-career scientists are encouraged to get involved in project proposals!
