ReMade@ARI (REcyclable MAterials DEvelopment at Analytical Research Infrastructures) is funded by the EU Commission’s Horizon Europe programme and co-funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.
The project commits to leverage the development of innovative, sustainable materials for key components in the most diverse sectors (such as electronics, batteries, vehicles, construction, packaging, plastics, textiles and food) on an unprecedented level, in the context of a circular economy approach.

  • Create an inspiring and interdisciplinary research environment, providing open access to labs and instruments and promising original and innovative approaches;
  • Establish an electronic access management system, a user selection panel and a central point for users’ travel reimbursement;
  • Promote extensive communication and expertise exchange across the diverse network of facilities;
  • Boost innovation for the Circular Economy by offering effective access routes to research infrastructures for industrial companies of all sizes;
  • Help unexperienced users to carry on their research through the constitution of a Smart Science Cluster, in which Junior scientists will devote two thirds of their working time to user support.
