Also this year, CERIC will actively participate in Trieste Next, a major scientific outreach initiative taking place in Trieste from 25 to 27 September.
There are a number of activities in which the Consortium’s researchers and staff will be involved:

• Saturday 26 September (@AREA Science Park exhibition space in Piazza Unità – from 2.30 PM). CERIC on AIR: three informal interviews wit researchers from the CERIC Partner Facility based at Elettra, to discuss their careers and their research.

A unique opportunity to hear some of the leading figures in cutting-edge European scientific research speak in person (the interviews will be in Italian)

2.30 PM – Eleonora Afanasenko (Austrian PF)
3.30 PM – Diego Dreossi (Italian PF)
4.30 PM – Nataliya Tsud (Czech PF)

• Saturday 26 September (@Urban Centre – from 6 PM), two CERIC researchers will talk about the international projects in which they are involved, which exploit cutting-edge scientific investigation techniques to study the so-called ‘non-canonical structures’ of DNA, in the conference BEYOND the DOUBLE HELIX: DNA and NANOMEDICINE.

The event is already sold-out, but you can follow it on streaming on the Youtube channel of Trieste Next.
