CERIC at Research to Innovate
|On the 12th and 13th of May our Senior Industrial Liaison Officer, Angela Zennaro, took part in R2I – Research to Innovate, a national event dedicated to innovation ecosystems focused on the value of collaboration between research organisations, industry and local areas.
The event hosted a large number of sessions aimed at forging connections and establishing a permanent national platform for collaboration, including a key round table discussion on the theme Large research infrastructures and the future of territories.
The panel, whose list of speakers included Caterina Petrillo, President of Area Science Park (which hosts one of our Associated Facilities), examined through various case studies, the impacts of a research infrastructure on the social and economic structure of the area in which it is located.
