Central European Training School and Workshop on Neutron Techniques

From the 4th to the 9th of October, the Budapest Neutron Centre (a state-of-the-art research infrastructure that houses the CERIC Hungarian Partner Facility) will host the 16th edition of the Central European Training School and Workshop on Neutron Techniques.

The CETS School – addressed to Master’s degree and PhD students, as well as early career researchers who wish to develop their projects using neutron techniques – will consist of a mix of theoretical lectures (including presentations from CERIC scientists) and hands-on training, to fully understand the basics of neutron physics and discover the secrets of the most commonly used beam techniques (diffraction, radiography, reflectometry, three-axis spectroscopy, small-angle scattering, prompt gamma activation analysis, time-of-flight techniques and neutron polarisation).

Registration deadline is set for June 1st, more information here: https://bnc.hu/cets/
