E-RIHS 2nd interim meeting in Prague

CERIC, partner of the H2020-INFRADEV E-RIHS project (European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science), on 12.13 September, took part in the 2nd interim project's meeting at the CIIRC in Prague, in order to discuss with the other project's partners the future of the research infrastructure.

The president of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Professor Eva Zažímalová, and the director of ITAM, Professor Stanislav Pospíšil, gave their salutations to all the partners. Discussions focused on E-RIHS legal status, financial planning, quality and governance documents.

On 14 September, the Stakeholders Advisory Board (SAB) has met in Prague for the first time. The SAB is composed of European delegates that represent European ministries and has been discussing about E-RIHS future.

E-RIHS supports research on heritage interpretation, preservation, documentation and management. It provides state-of-the-art tools and services to cross-disciplinary research communities advancing understanding and preservation of global heritage. It provides access to a wide range of cutting-edge scientific infrastructure, methodologies, data and tools, training in the use of these tools, public engagement, access to repositories for standardized data storage, analysis and interpretation. E-RIHS enables the community to advance heritage science and global access to the distributed infrastructures in a coordinated and streamlined way.
