How the event is structured

The Symposium will feature introductory lectures by invited speakers alternating with panel discussions on presented topics. Each day focuses on one or two central themes, which will be developed through collaborative discussions. A poster session will conclude the first day, allowing participants to showcase research relevant to the meeting’s themes and to network.

Criteria to be selected as a participant

Submit your application if you: 

  • AND/OR Are involved in a research team working on the aging theme; 
  • AND/OR Are a PhD student or post-doctoral researcher interested in the topic. 

Presenting a poster

Participants may present a poster during a dedicated session at the end of the first symposium day. The Organizing Committee will review both participant applications and poster submissions. If you wish to submit a poster, please note that the application form requires a brief description (maximum 1000 characters) and asks if you will provide a PDF version for website publication, allowing interested viewers to download it both before and after the symposium. 

What CERIC offers to admitted participants

Travel and accommodation for those admitted to the symposium will be covered by CERIC. Once you receive confirmation of admission, you will receive a registration form that will help the Consortium make any necessary arrangements. Meals and coffee breaks included in the program are also provided by CERIC.Should you need a VISA, please note that we can provide an invitation letter but we cannot help you to obtain a VISA.

The opportunity to submit your application will remain open from May 2025 until June 30, 2025. 

The Organising Committee will review all candidates and their potential proposals for the poster session.
Those who are selected will receive a confirmation email that they have been admitted, which will include a link to formally register for the event.

Completing this second form is mandatory and must be done no later than July 31, 2025.
